Hubbell’s hazardous location line of non-fused disconnect switches are typically used for applications where flammable gases or vapors, ignitable dusts and fibers are present. They are also suitable for use in damp and dirty outdoor or indoor locations, or in areas where frequent washdowns, heavy rains, or water spraying occur routinely. These switches are compact in size to reduce cost and ease of placement on the wall or equipment. Enclosures are made from copper free aluminum and have a polyester/epoxy finish to prevent corrosion. Highly visible handles can be locked to comply with OSHA lockout/tagout regulations.
